Imagining a heightened near-future, we stand on the last remaining watermelon farm in Texas. Mama Copper and her cohort of farmers struggle to hold onto their land in the face of encroaching Government and Corporation. As a last resort, Mama brings in her three estranged kids to save the farm, but it quickly spirals into a devouring by sentient melons of the underground. Part parable/farce/satire; we progressively turn the dials up on reality, following a cast of bold characters devised by the acting company. Producer: NYU Tisch Graduate Acting/Design.
